Carl Goss is a native of rural Philadelphia, MS and a 1965 graduate of Miss State University. He moved to Decatur in 1965 and worked as an electrical engineer for twelve years prior to starting Goss Electric Co, on April 1, 1976 in Decatur, AL. He opened the company doors with 2 employees and has since grown his business to employ approximately 300 people.

Since 1976, Goss Electric has grown into one of the largest electrical contractors in the Tennessee Valley. Though the company has changes, our original values and objectives have not. We remain committed to:
